Born in 1984 in Berlin, I received my Bachelor’s degree in philosophy in 2009 with a minor in religious studies and indian philology and my Master’s degree in philosophy in 2012, both from Free University Berlin, Germany.

Since September 2013, I am a PhD student at the University of Potsdam, Germany. I received a doctoral scholarship from Heinrich Böll Foundation. From January to December 2016, I am a visiting researcher at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society.

I am a member of the editorial board of, a German blog on political theory and philosophy, and a founding member of the John Dewey Society Student Working Group.

Since 2006 I work part-time in public relations, IT system administration, database programming, web development, and publishing.
